The government has formed a task force to recommend reforms in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), amid protests over irregularities. Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani will chair the panel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the move last month, seeking technological interventions and structural reforms to strengthen and modernise India’s examination system and improve transparency for students nationwide.
