China Unveils Brain-Inspired AI Chip Claimed to Outperform Nvidia’s A100

Chinese researchers have developed a 40-nanometre brain-inspired memory chip that reportedly mimics human brain structures in real time. According to reports, the processor reconstructs brain surfaces in under half a second and delivers performance claimed to be 50 to 478 times faster than Nvidia’s A100 GPU. Researchers say it could advance neurological research and medical diagnostics.
