Majority of Poll Observers in West Bengal Elections From BJP-Ruled States, EC Data Shows

The Election Commission has deployed 1,097 observers across four states and one Union Territory for ongoing polls. Of 294 General Observers in West Bengal, 62% are from BJP-ruled states, while 111 belong to Opposition-ruled regions. Maharashtra contributes the highest number, with 42 officers among those assigned to oversee the election process.
