BJP Has Never Held a Contested National President Election

Nitin Nabin was elected BJP national president unopposed. Since its formation in 1980, the party has never witnessed a contested poll for the top post. The organisational election process instead begins with nationwide membership drives, followed by elections at mandal, district, regional and state levels across India since its inception period.
