Rupee’s Value Will Adjust Naturally, Government to Prioritise Customs Reforms

At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2025, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the rupee will “find its own level” against the US dollar. She added that after simplifying the income tax system, the Centre will focus on customs reforms. The summit also featured External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
